ale cię pokorciło o zmianę konta.. to ja tylko ostrzegę- znajoma jakiś czas temu miałą nieprzyjemną sytuację, bo jakaś amerykanka na bieżąco zapisywała jej prace z deva; kumpela zdecydowała się na kasację większosci/ całości galerii i prowadziął jedyne galerię na digart.pl, po czym dostałą bana, bo ponoć ona kradła prace.. kicha, bo daty mówiły co innego... więc pamiętaj, zabezpiecz się przed taką ewentualnością, bo jak widać, różnie to wychodzi.. pozdrawiam cieplutko ^.^

I've got a question for you..well, actually a few questions...I want to quit Deviantart too and reenter under a new name, but does that mean I will have to re-type all of my submissions again? (They're all written things, not pictures) Second, will all my old comments for other people go away if I quit and then reenter? Third, how do you quit? I hate to be a pain, but I REALLY want to know these things, and you seem to know how to do them. If you could get back to me, please do. And sorry that I'm writing to you about MY quitting and reentering, and not your own. I hope you don't mind terribly...^-^;

I don't think this is a good idea (but that's just my opinion, of course).
Doing that, you will lose all your comments and favourites, and people having favourites from your gallery will likely loose them as well.
I am not sure that people having commented the first time will care to comment again on the same deviations in the new account.

In a while, dA will allow to put deviations in folders (they call them Collections, see in Common Suggestions!, which can a better solution to keep a near gallery. It won't resolve the name issue, but would allow to keep old stuff separated from the new.

I am not fan of the idea of deleting deviations appreciated by people, because it is a kind of lack of respect for their comments and faves.

Again, that's just my take on the subject, feel free to do as you feel.

Read the FAQ... FAQ #113: How can I close my deviantART account? says: you cannot close an account. Once on dA, forever on it!
And you can easily copy & paste your submissions, no?
And yes, you will lose all comments and faves. dA don't support moving deviations to another account, which I regret sometime, but see my answer below, you will be able to organize your deviations better. In an undefined future...

hmm ur kinda right... So do you think it would be better to leave all the submissions? In that case, I'd simply have two accounts; and this one just won't be in use anymore. But I'd check all the comments and notes.

As for those collections, it says:
A while back, we used to have a feature called 'devPacks' that allowed users to group together certain deviations that were similar. This feature has been taken down for reworking, and we hope to reintroduce it under the name 'Collections' in the future.
So, I can't make those folders right now, can I? As it says, this has been taken down... Hope it'll really be restored...

Yes, we have to wait an undefined time for these Collections...
Having two accounts in parallel can be a good idea, and not so unusual (old/new stuff, misc./stock art, misc./one comic, etc.). You might even repost deviations you like a lot, maybe with a link to the old account.

You know what's amazing in deviantart ? The most amazing thing in dA? It's to see how people have became great artist, how they have improved, how they've managed to give the best of themselves, from the beginning.

So please, don't delete your old stuff, even if you don't like it, even if you think it's unworthy, because thas is exaclty what give you some deepness, to all of us, to see how you've improved to become the artist you are right now.

Uwah, przy zakładaniu nowego konta trzeba się trochę namęczyć - szczególnie, jeśli chodzi o watchowanie ludzi (: Ale jeśli username Cię tak męczy, to zmieniaj, sama wiem, jak to człowieka gryzie xP

Większość ludzi, która watchowała wcześniej, zuaczuje i i nowe konto, ale na pewno nie wszyscy. Bah, niektórzy nie zauważają nawet ogromnych journali, w których jak byk jest napisane, że utworzyłaś nowe konto <D

Nie wiem, jak to może być z tym kasowaniem prac. Może faktycznie przenieś kilka nowych/lepszych artów na nowy account, bo dziwnie się siedzi na zupełnie pustym : D Jak będziesz musiała usunąć stare prace - koniecznie zamieść je na swojej stronie <3

Yeah you're right. When sometimes I look on my older stuff, I'm terrified how bad I was, haha..xD But it's nice to see an improvement. Even if it's not really big!
